Yuck Yuck

Thank goodness we got Max’s computer internet able! Mine is currently looking very dead with a blue screen and i can’t do anything about it. Back to “Tess” i think for entertainment. Sigh.

Kids have just played all day, except when we went to Kates. Her daughter starts her special school this week and as she is going to have more free time, she has offered to give all of us art lessons. Which will be nice.

While i was over there she was on the phone to the transport people, done in the same way as Moo’s transport, and she asked them if they knew if Moo was having the same employees for her trips to nursery this year. The chap asked to talk to me and broke the news that the barely 50 year old escort who took Moo every day last year, died suddenly on Friday of a massive heart attack :~(

I’m gutted. She was a nice, if earthy, lady and she was very sweet to Moo who adored her. We had specially requested to have her back because she had been lovely and very reliable. Moo treasures the t-shirts that were her present from P at the end of term and Moo had spent a lot of time on a drawing for her just a few weeks ago. I really don’t know how, if at all, to tell Maddy. I think i probably won’t and we will just have to cook up a story with the driver. It will either go over Maddy’s head or break her heart and i can’t really cope with either.

Practically, i wasn’t banking on getting her back because it is always retendered but as it turns out we would have and its going to be the same driver. So its going to be complex; i had pre-warned Moo she couldn’t bank on getting P again but somehow this is harder for me because i don’t really have a plan and i feel quite emotional about it. Its just such a shame too, she was a nice lady and she was too young to just die like that :~(
