Rampaging Raines!!!!

(Now how is that for a co-incidental alphabetical title moment!)

This morning i had a mental cleaning and tidying fit so it all looked a bit nicer for our visitors. Not that i mind people seeing my messy glory but crunchy underfoot is a bit much i always think. Plus if it starts tidy its easier to get a pack of kids to tidy up again!!!

I also managed to make some playdough, get both girls to do some “work” and do a load of washing and dishwashing. I really enjoyed watching the big two play maths rods; to say they illustrated their personalities well is an understatement, but i’ll save the photos for tomorrow. I did like Frans drawing of her rod picture though, added a new dimension!

And then we had lunch ;~D

At which point the Raine Drops turned up and its all been exceptionally pleasant ever since. The kids have played in the sand, done beads, playdough, dressing up, and generally had a nice time together, with B and Ammi hitting it off exceptionally well and the big three really getting on well too. R slept all day, so far as i can tell (i would like to book one of THAT model please!!!) and so Barbara and i have been able to talk HE – lovely, nothing like it!

And now we are off to eat and chat some more. Barabara says hi!
