Oh i do like to be beside the seaside!!!!

Took advantage of todays good weather and legged it to Hunstanton. I really ought to go more often, it only takes an hour…

It was the first beach trip i can think of that has been a real good experience for all of them. Fran and Ammi spent ages charging in and out of the sea and Moo built castles with Rich and really enjoyed decorating them. Most of the pics are a bit naked really unfortunately as i hadn’t taken cossies for some reason. I was going to put one up ofAmmi but on reflection its a bit doctor-able so i better save it for my mammoth photo cataloging session when mum and dad next have the girls.

It was an idyllic beach afternoon; speedboats to watch, paragliders, seaweed to look at, shells, good waves to squash castles with, just the right amount of sun and breeze. Lovely.

Fran having a quiet moment of reflection.

Everyone on the rollercoaster (one of those digital cameras need to speed up a bit moments.)

On one of the three rides they were allowed – at £1.50 a throw it was a bit expensive but they were really accepting of the “only so much money” thing – i was really pleased with them.

We stopped at Norfolk Lavender on the way back and i got lots of lavender plugs to make a border with. We also had a very long talk about gas and safety in the house with it plus Rich did a quick lecture on fossil fuels while i was buying the picnic.

And this morning before we went Fran did several more times tables things, including a sheet that you had to make up the question, wordsearches for both girls and some reading. So all in all it was a good day.
