Normal service will be resumed shortly.

Hormones up the creek, clearly. Still dear old Ammi has been lovely today, she is far more perceptive of emotions than the other two and kept coming up to give me love and cuddles. If she sees me cry she seems to know immediately that very long, non-wriggly cuddles are required. The other two didn’t even notice!

They have hama-ed loads today and played in the garden. Maddy did two beautiful people, made up completely out of her own head and worked incredibly hard on a pink and purple horse too. She is great. Fran did a couple of wordsearches but mainly they all played. Tomorrow my brother is coming to stay and everyone is very excited about that. Lots of games, lots of looking at books and general pleasantness. Ammi seems to be really outgrowing her nap though. Sigh!

Finished off the day with a couple of Bible stories, Abraham and Sarah and Isaac and Rebekah which Fran really enjoyed. Diverted slightly into the story of the man in Tunisa who offered my dad 20 camels for my mum while they were on honeymoon which she found highly amusing; bit of cultural diversity to end the day. Also read The Wolf and the Kid (or possibly The Kid and the Wolf, there are two) and the girls acted it out complete with irish jigs. Chuckle.

Fran is starting to read the world at large now – asking what words are, spelling things out, trying to use what she has gained recently. Its good to see.

Sorry for being a noddy.
