Well… not quite as planned but not bad!

Grin… woke up this morning and developed a terrible urge to go shopping. Fortunately Fran needed clothes so we went to Tesco and H&Ms and cheaply kitted her out with a few bits – she seems to have got extremely leggie suddenly! Obviously, being July it was completely the WRONG time of year to go hunting for summer sundresses, so t-shirts and shorts have had to suffice. Still, it was all sale stuff so thats not bad. Also took back the airmattress that had a hole in it last week and to my glee they offered to refund it – which given i won’t need another double one for about a year was quite a result! Made the fundamental mistake of not eating and nearly passed out when i got back home, but apart from that it was a nice little trip.

Fran picked up one of those pads that has printed tessellations to colour on it while we were out; she hates colouring so i was a bit reluctant to part with £1.49 really, but she has spent all afternoon colouring it in neatly, so that was a bonus. She also did another number square at her request and got all the numbers right and much, much neater than before, so that’s looking promising. Just need to think up an equivalent for letters really but at the moment i am stumped!

Apart from that it seems to have been largely grizzly here with several irritating fights over teddy bear ownership. Hmmm..

Max has been grumpy all day due to the fact that he can’t find a car to buy as cheaply as he wants (I’m saying nothing along the lines of “I told you so” i promise!) but he has just come home with flowers and bubbly so i am now off to celebrate my 6th Wedding Anniversary with STYLE!!!!!!
