Addressing the “social” side of education!
Day started early-ish with a “Puddico” trip to Snowbabies – which was a bit quiet and not quite as good as normal but the kids seemed to have fun! Then we came home to recuperate and do lunch-sticking-playing etc etc etc
After that we all tripped off to Burghley House to look at the Sculpture Gardens, which had lots of new stuff. We didn’t do bad really despite a sudden lack of calories causing a biscuit buying mission. Anyway…
This is “Toy Boy” which was really fab and my lot particularly loved. Its a huge sculpture of a man and a dog made totally of Macdonald type plastic toys.
and a flying Ams who despite being up till 2am was full of life today!
After nearly a year since its last featuring on the blog, we took a variety of shots around the “education” sculpture.
And here are the Portico’s sharing an idyllic moment (chuckle!)
House feels very empty now. Its lovely to be able to have people here again… i’ve missed being able to be sociable (although i fear my hostessing leaves a lot to be desired!)
Kept Moo off nursery today since she came home crying again yesterday and didn’t want to go today at all and tomorrows Polling Day so its closed. Max and i are definitely starting to wonder if she is going to go next year now – i think she may just be outgrowing it. I think Max feels even less sure she’ll need it than i do.
