Projects

I don’t know quite what came over me today but i just decided people here were going to actually spend some TIME on things!

So – i started off by getting Fran and Moo to collaborate on a sticker book of fierce and furry animals, which they did.

Then when Ams went off to bed i got Moo sat down with some lego…

which she thorough enjoyed – yes you guess it… she built a toilet block (Moo? Toilet obsessed… noooo….)

Anyway – it was also a shop and she spent ages working on it and playing with it.

In the meantime Fran did another book and then started on some sewing, using tapestry wools and an opitec printed card i have had for about three years! lol! I was horribly strict, unpicked wonky bits, made her keep the back tidy etc etc but the result was something she lay on the sofa really concentrating on and she has finished in one day for daddys birthday pressie next week.

I did feel a bit guilty but tbh i am a little sick of her flitting from one thing to the next every 5 seconds – she never gets much satisfaction because she never really tries to achieve anything much. So i just thought it was time to try and push the point a bit – it worked anyway – i could never have forced her into that.

i dunno what it is about Fran but just lately she seems to want to be spoonfed things – she sits watchnig films asking constantly what is happening and i just end up yelling at her to watch the bloody thing!!! I know she doesn’t always hear very well but tbh, she really does need to learn some coping mechanisms. She’d be lost in a classroom.

She is doing really well reading wise though and sounded out some words she didn’t know all on her own today.

Ammi was, again COMPLETELY adorable today. I’m totally in love with her at the moment.

Fran and i finished the day off by buying ear defenders for Silverstone this weekend (“ear detectors” as Moo calls them) and a trip to Tesco for new shoes for me and stuff.
