In other news….

Started the day with Snowbabies which everyone loved as usual – Fran was a complete star and entertained me for the whole time – i can’t walk on the ice as apparently pregnant women are a health and safety hazard… *rolls eyes* Like the Council would turn up on an icy day and ask me to please not walk on the pavement…. grrr…

Then the big two had a skating lesson and both did very well and then we all went off to Macdonalds for lunch. This was followed by a mammoth trip round town, which they all behaved beautifully for – couldn’t fault them tbh – what nice children i have!

Fran and i had huge long conversations about death and burial today – she asked about whether all our family would be buried together and said she wanted to be buried with us – i said her priorities might change as she grew up and that would be fine – then she wanted to be buried not cremated, until the worms/rotting flesh thing occurred to her – and then she wasn’t quite sure what she thought. So i told her about a friend of mine whose ashes were buried in a balsa wood box under an ash tree sapling and now, 12 years later, the tree is big and when i go past it i can think of it as having him as part of the tree. She rather liked that and decided that was what she wanted. I did ask if she could try to avoid dying in the near future though :~/

She spent the rest of the evening with her Syl. Family house, while Moo clopped around in new purple plastic Barbie shoes.

Anyway, all in all it seems like a good day. I’m desperately crabby but really really trying not to snap at them because its NOT thier fault i am pregnant and tired and achy!
