Gosh… it was practically school here today *raises eyebrows*

Goodness…. after a fairly flat week here in terms of “stuff done” today went a bit mad.

Firstly, while i was having a 5 minute revival kip on the sofa, she set up a shop on her own and even found coins to pay and an abacus for a till. All i had to do was help make price labels (and she surprised me by being very astute about what cost more) and then choose my shopping. She added it up for me on the abacus and then worked out the coins i needed to pay with. And got it all right. We only did things costing up to 9p but it felt great to see her doing it so easily. And it was all her own idea too which was lovely.

Then we did a load of Enchanted Learning booklets, the Snowman one being the fave of the day. After this we worked through most of this months “Learning is Fun” and some bits were simple enough for her to read herself – she was so pleased to be able to “use” her reading in “real life.” So was i ;~)

Inspired by this she then read the whole of 2b P&J to me at which point i got overload and sent her off to play! I was all schooled out!!!!!

All in all, its been good. Scruff has been lovely and Moo is tired but seems very happy atm. Eating a lot though!

Oh – we made this earlier in the week from this site Canon Volcano Model

Twas a bugger to get to stick, i can tell you!
