Last night of my 20’s…

and i am sitting in looking at key stage 1 worksheets – rofl.. oh i know how to live!

Just been reflecting on some old pics – been a while since they looked like this

*ignore the sound of me wailing in the background!

And then, if you want spooky, hows this…

Nope.. not Scruff… Moo – and I only really knew cos of the rug on the floor!

Here is Scruff sporting “packpack” just to compare!!!!!

Well – i thought the roll might have come to an end this morning but we pulled it back. We generally go out together on a friday so it was odd to be in ALL day with no car – could have walked but by the time i was ready to go out everyone was engrossed in something. *shakes head*

First of all Moo spent ages on the same game Fran has been doing and got most of the way through it *open mouthed mamma* She was particularly good at the spelling and money bits – without being shown at all – just from watching Fran. Fran meanwhile was busy with geomags, beads and a dvd.

Then i found “Finding Nemo” colouring pages and they really got into those – Fran asked for sugar paper and sellotape and next time i looked, the other room looked like this…

which shortly after became this…

Its not a good picture – i will do a better one tomorrow – but its all the characters coloured in, cut out and arranged, most of their names and various other bits. She worked on this for a couple of hours (i also did her a load of relevant words with comic sans in outline print – thanks for the idea Joyce!) and she put “Just keep swimming!” in the top corner as well as identifying and using as a title the logo words from the film. While this went on she had “The Blue Planet” on in the background and got through 3 episodes “I’m not exactly watching Mamma, just listening and looking up for good bits”

Moo meanwhile was playing a game based on Swan Lake….

Don’t really know why this amuses me as i was EXACTLY like this – i had a box with coins, drawing pins, paper clips, chess pieces, plasticine and bits and bobs in it that i used as my “imaginary” box for year – i still had it for posterity when i met Max! Its just weird to see it in my offspring – in fact its the ONLY bit of me i see in Moo!

We also did face painting, more leap pad, played with the rabbits, looked at comics/bbc mag type things, tidied the playroom, glooze and Scruff had a lovely time with the geomags, till Moo caught her. Moo thinks they are hers. Shall have to get some that aren’t yellow.

Had a letter to say her assessment starts next week – starting with an occupational therapist and clinical psychologist – sounds a bit nasty really doesn’t it?

Almost no telly is being watched which i like and its at their instigation. Moo and Fran played in Frans room tonight till they had a fight. Took Moo to bed and then popped back to Fran to find her sobbing her heart out cos she knew she had “hurt Moo’s feelings.” Bless.

And how am i spending the last night of my 20’s? Seeing whats on the newest site i have signed up to of course!
@school Its only £10 for 3 months so i thought i might give it a go.
