Another nice day (going for a radically different title here!)

Today was much quieter but just as nice. Girls did another load of playdough play this morning and really plaed well – lots of games about kings and queens and marrying also went on. After all that Fran asked for a Reader Rabbit game called Capers on Cloud Nine which is aimed at the core subjects for “Year One” – to my amazement, she stuck at this virtually all day, sounding out words, doing the sums and owrking out the puzzles and the order the puzzles needed to be solved in to unlock the next levels. She asked for very little help but definitely found it challenging, not easy to work out. There were things in it that are issues for her and she overcame them – i really admired her for sticking at it. She was SO THRILLED when she got to the end and immediately started again! Two days of pooter games has shown me her reading is coming – she just doesn’t know it! lol!

She also painted the inside of her box gold and spent time with me chatting about my business, the post service, money and various business at home related things.

Moo was brought home and we mounted the double buggy and walked to the PostOffice with 15 parcels! *shriek!* Got there with 5 minutes to spare and majorly hacked off the posty – twas a shock to the system to walk anywhere! Might have to get used to it as car is going to cost £300 to fix and may take two weeks :~(( On the way home Fran and i did the 10 and 2 times table and my goodness i think she got it! lol!

After that Moo finished her box – looks lovely – will do a picture.
