Oh how pitiful is this… i can’t sleep. I’ve spent half the night awake soothing the horribly eczema-y arms of Bubba and now i just can’t drop off… :((

What iddi we do today? Well – the kids now turn the tv off at 10am themselves… mind you Moo had got in a cool 4 hours worth by then! ARGH! So early! Today we did Einsteinonline again and Pud really enjoyed the times tables while Moo amazed me by getting the reception level spellings right and knowing the letters! (HOW did that happen!) We have a little opitec shapes box on the desk with coins and a handful of unit blocks in it and we used the blocks to do 2 “lots of” 3 or whatever – Pud really grasped it 🙂

After that we loaded up the new issue of Webland – the Lets Explore issue had a really good set of items – baby animals, inventors and birds in the garden. They basically played all morning on it, together, which was nice and were browsing back issues with ease. Pud has got particularly good at online jigsaws, which she hated very recently.. kids….

After that we went to play with their little 2nd cousin, who is nearly 1 now and just starting to join in with them – up until now they have scared him a bit i think! lol! We had Ice Age on in the background – a very funny animated film – i laughed a lot. The happy/sad ending had Pud fighting back tears, first time i have seen that “i’m not crying” reaction to a film in her – and i immediately bawled! lol! I’m so soft!

We finished off the day with a picnic watching daddy play cricket (he won!) and everyone was asleep the second they got into bed – bless!
