Hmmmm….. what it is to be superfluous… On the back of reading the Clarke blog i decided to gently limit the amount of tv that was going on – just to see what happened. So we have gone for before 10am, lunch and tea time and nothing else. If anyone (read Moo!) really needs some chillout time, its one programme only and then off.

I was expecting major hassle over this but to my (well not really i guess) surprise its been really good. Yesterday we got out the duplo and all three sat and played it together for 2 1/2 hours. Then we had an afternoon out. Today we went skating and then to the petshop for rabbit food and played on the swings and when we came back the playdough came out and they have been playing in the garden. And no one seems to need me! (Which means i have to do housework!)

Yesterday we had a bit of an excursion into toys r us which resulted in my cash being spent on a box of “ello” (much to my dismay) and some geomags.

Well – surprisingly i am quite impressed with the ello – its a fairly fiddly but quite absorbing construction toy and Pud seems to love it. Got to be good for those motor skills! Moo seems mainly interested in playing fishing with the geomags… but hey.. .theres time! lol!
